These Terms of Service set the rules between you and Lumitica when you visit https://lumitica.com, place an order, or interact with us in any way. They are written in plain English on purpose. By using the store, you're agreeing to them — so please read them carefully and reach out at info@lumitica.com if anything is unclear.
Lumitica is a sole-proprietor business. Throughout these Terms, "Lumitica," "we," "us," and "our" refer to that business; "you" and "your" refer to anyone visiting the store or placing an order.
1. Who can buy from us
You need to be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to place an order. By checking out, you're confirming that you meet that requirement and that the information you give us is accurate. We currently ship only to addresses inside the United States.
2. Our products
Lumitica curates premium hair accessories and aesthetic beauty tools — silk scrunchies, claw clips, headbands, face rollers, gua sha stones, and similar self-care essentials. We are an independent brand and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any other beauty, fashion, or wellness brand whose products may appear in inspiration imagery.
Our beauty tools (face rollers, gua sha stones, and similar accessories) are designed and sold as cosmetic accessories for self-care use. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Please review our Disclaimers page for the full statement before purchase.
We work hard to describe each product accurately, including dimensions, materials, and what is and isn't in the box. Photographs are color-corrected for our brand palette but small differences from your screen can occur. If a product page contains an obvious error (a wrong price, an impossible promise) we reserve the right to correct it and either confirm or cancel affected orders before they ship.
3. How orders work
Adding an item to your cart is not an offer or a reservation. The order is formed only when:
- You complete checkout and we successfully charge your payment method, and
- We send you an order confirmation email.
Until then, we may decline an order — for example, if a product is out of stock, if we suspect fraud, if the shipping address can't be served by our partners, or if the order looks like it was placed by an automated tool. If we cancel before charging you, no money changes hands. If we cancel after charging you, we refund the full amount to your original payment method.
4. Pricing, payment, and taxes
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and do not include sales tax, which is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Payment is processed by Shopify Payments, with PayPal available as an alternative when offered. Lumitica never sees or stores your full card number.
Promotional codes can't be combined unless we say otherwise on the page where the code is offered. Codes have no cash value, can't be applied to orders that have already been placed, and may be revoked if used in ways the offer wasn't designed for.
5. Shipping and fulfillment
Lumitica operates on a curated dropshipping model. Once we receive your order, it is forwarded to one of our vetted independent suppliers — sourced through the Syncee network — for fulfillment from a U.S. or EU warehouse. The supplier picks, packs, and ships the order on our behalf.
Estimated delivery is five to ten business days from order to doorstep for most U.S. addresses. Cut-off times, carrier performance, weather, and holidays can extend that window, and we'll let you know if your specific order is going to take longer. 6. Returns and refunds
Our return window, condition requirements, and the categories of items that can't be returned for hygiene reasons are described on our Refund Policy page, which is part of these Terms.
7. Accounts
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping the password private and for any activity that happens through it. Please tell us right away if you suspect someone has used your account without permission. We may suspend or close an account if it's used in a way that breaks these Terms.
8. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Try to break, scrape, overwhelm, or reverse-engineer the store.
- Submit payment information that isn't yours, or use the store to launder or test stolen card numbers.
- Resell items in a way that misrepresents Lumitica as the seller.
